We love dumplings
We had two gentlemen from Hong Kong that joined our cooking class this week. It was a pleasure to do a dumpling making class with them.
Before the class started they spent some time exploring and relaxing in our neighborhood area, the beautiful and historic Tamsui harbor. This is not their first time to Taipei, but it is their first time to visit the Tamsui area. We are glad they enjoyed the sightseeing here.
It was such fun to make dumplings from scratch with them. We tried lots of different ways and techniques to shape the dumplings. It was interesting to know how different countries are making the dumplings in the same or even different shapes, but of course, the stuffing and seasoning will be different.
We also thank them for the wonderful dinning chat, now we know more about recent developments in Hong Kong society.
We can't wait to visit HK again and definitely will go to do wine tasting with these gentlemen.
