German exchange student and her mother visiting Taiwan for the first time.
Hosted a class for a mother and daughter from Germany. The daughter was studying in Taiwan on an exchange program and was referred to us by a fellow exchange student who also joined our class previously. Just a few minutes after they entered, mom already told us she is really enjoying the class. They are both very easy going and love to communicate with people. They are different than most of our European students as they had chosen two famous spicy dishes in their set to cook. Mom is originally from Hungary and this is her first Asia trip visiting her lovely daughter. They have not seen each other since February. As a mother, she was missing her since day one. We are so glad they both enjoyed the class, and also grateful she is going to share her gulash recipe with us. We can't wait to try the recipe.
