The first taste of Laos beer

We are very pleased to have our first Korean cooking mate and he is very sweet to bring two cans of Laos beer for us to try. Why Laos not Korean beer? Found out he opened a cafe in Vientiane and lives in Laos for quite a while now. His first time visiting Laos was a bit out of plan as he had too many days to stay in Hanoi so his friend suggested he to take a side trip to Laos. Since then he planned and worked there for a few years and after that he opened his own successful cafe. He really enjoyed our class and will use his new skills to make his mom her favorite treat...Pineapple cake! We definitely will visit Laos and drink more beer and also coffee with him!
