A couple from the Netherlands came to Taiwan to visit their son who is currently an exchanging student in Taiwan.
They booked our cooking courses through a Dutch travel agency.
They first went to Tainan to visit their son, and unlike most travelers, they chose a car to self-drive around Taiwan.
In the course, we made Taiwanese-style pickled cabbage, dumplings and hot and sour soup.
They loved Taiwanese enthusiasm and food flavor.
They showed us some photos where their son visited Taiwan’s Aboriginal villages and learned how to make bamboo rice and other indigenous dishes.
We also shared with them the experiences of traveling in the Netherlands and the memories of their local cuisine.
Through food, we had a more delicious experience and memorable exchange of each other's cultures.
