We had the honor of cooking with an expat who has been living in Taiwan for over thirty years. He selected specific dishes to prepare as they were his late wife’s favorite dishes. We are very honored that we were able to provide him with the skills to prepare these dishes so he can remember and honor his wife’s memory. He is a lovely man and we hope to meet and cook with him again soon in the future. We also thank him for the delicious homemade bacon and maple-balsamic vinegar he brought us as a gift before class.
