A Man Who Keeps His Word
We received the first class booking request from this gentleman from Canada in the spring of 2016. He expected to come to Taiwan that summer, but unfortunately his schedule was the same as our European trip. He promised to attend our course next time he came to Taiwan. After more than two years, he fulfilled his promise to participate in our courses. In the morning, we visited the Beitou traditional market before class started. We made braised pork rice, hot and sour soup, tofu noodle salad and scallion beef in the class. He told us that because his partner has a Taiwanese background, he is very familiar with the flavors of Taiwan, often cooking Taiwanese food for his partner. We have not often seen such a gentleman, who is so caring and who values his promises made. He told us he will join our class with his partner next time. We can't wait to see him again in the near future.
